2012年度常外毕业生后续发展跟踪调查报告三

——常外2011届九年级优秀毕业生在新加坡德明中学的近况反馈

 

2011年常外有两位九年级毕业生进入新加坡德明中学就读。德明中学是新加坡公立优秀学校。两位常外毕业生在该校认真学习,刻苦修习。今日,我们有幸获得了来自德明中学对两位同学的评语。

评语1

FTHard-working and optimistic in his work.

CCA(Symphonic Band)

He is a very responsible student and attends band practices punctually and regularly. He is also very hard-working and has a lot of self initiative. He is often seen practicing his flute at night on his own accord in the music room of the schools hostel as he is determined to improve his playing so as to take part in SYF next year.

CCA(Calligraphy)

He has no prior background in Chinese Calligraphy, however he has shown a sustained interest with regular attendance at weekly Calligraphy lessons. He is polite and well mannered.

Hostel

Obey hostel rules and are polite to teachers mentor. He is quite positive and discipline.

 

FT:在学习中勤奋乐观。

CAA(管乐队):该同学是一个有责任感的学生,他准时并定期参加乐队训练。同时也非常勤奋有很强的主动性。经常看到他在学校宿舍的音乐室里练习长笛,因为他决心提高他的演奏水平以便于参加明年的SYF

CCA(书法):他在中国书法方面没有基础,但是他通过坚持参加每周一次的书法课来表现出对书法持续的热情。他很有礼貌,举止得体。

宿舍:遵守宿舍的规章制度,对生活老师彬彬有礼。他非常积极向上,遵章守纪。

 

评语2

FTHe is adapting well to the school environment. He makes intelligent and perceptive contributions during class discussions.

CCA (Infocomm Club)

He seems very serious when interacting with others. He takes his studies and learning seriously. For example, he would pay full attention and would do all the assignments during the C Language Programming class. He often helps coaching his peers.

It would be good if he socializes with his peers more especially with non-PRC students. He could lighten up a little instead of always being very serious.

Hostel

Obey the hostel rules and are polite to teachers mentor.

 

FT:该同学对学校环境适应良好。在课堂讨论中表现出他的智慧和敏锐。

CCA(信息通信俱乐部):他在与人交往中表现的似乎很严肃,在学习中也非常严谨。比如,在C语言程序设计课上,他会全神贯注,并且完成所有的作业。他经常帮助指导他的同伴。如果他能够多与同伴尤其是非中国学生开展更多交往就更好了,他可以放松一点而不是总是非常严肃。

宿舍:遵守宿舍的规章制度,对生活老师有礼貌。

 

从以上的评语中,我们可以获得几个启示:

第一,责任感,是人成长中最需要养成的对现实加以积极回应的实在感。这种责任感的养成,是常外对在校学生最重要的期待之一。

第二,主动性,无论是因为兴趣爱好的导引,还是责任感的驱动,它表现为学习者对未来有明晰的憧憬,对实现未来梦想有清晰的规划——成长路径能选择良好的策略,更在过程中灵活调整。

第三,使命感,在责任感和主动性两者的共同作用下,一方面人们可以更为快乐地投入生活;另一方面,每个人可以为也应该为所在团队做出更大的贡献,使得团队更为卓越,也使团队中的自己获得力量。

第四,专注度,有时候我们学习某个新的项目或者拓展到新的学习领域,基础固然重要,然而,以乐观的心态置身其中,专注于斯勤加练习,或许也可以把握并能做得很好,因为,天才源自勤奋。

第五,协作性,当我们投身到新的环境中的时候,加强自己与周围伙伴的交往,可以帮助我们更为迅速、顺畅地建立良好人际关系。这是沟通的能力,也是合作的能力。

第六,自制力,在生活中表现出对他人的彬彬有礼,是良好修养的内在体现。同时,理解并遵守那些被证明为良好的制度的时候,既可以让我们更容易受人欢迎,事实也让我们在不知不觉间养成终身受益的良好生活习惯。
